Hilary photographs portraits of people, landscapes and aspects of their culture. She is an experienced traveler who has explored nearly seventy countries out of a passion for trying to understand the differences and similarities among them.
‘Roughing it,’ as she describes affectionately, has enabled her to gain access to many remote areas and explore quite diverse and beautiful places—all through the lense of her camera.
Hilary primarily uses her photographs to document trips and provide reference for her paintings. She also uses them to illustrate reports, projects, articles and program manuals.
